New Paintings

Better late than never but I have finally added my latest paintings! I hope you enjoy them.

Three of my paintings have been selected for The Springville Art Crawl this coming Sat, May 4th 6-9pm. Artwork will be displayed in temporary gallery exhibits set up in businesses along Main Street. Walk the historic district and enjoy music, refreshments and company. Meet at the tent at the corner of Main & Mechanic Streets to get your map.

The Art Loft will be opening Wed May 22nd where my art is displayed (and for sale!). The Art Loft is located at 4994 Rt. 394, Mayville, NY 14757, 1/2 mile north of Chautauqua Institution. The website is www.theartloft.org. I work part time during the summer so if you come to visit maybe you will see me there.

I have prints of most paintings available in various sizes for sale. I also have notecards. Please contact me if you have any questions.

New paintings and updates

Well, I've been busy!!

Painting new paintings, finishing unfinished paintings, measuring & cutting mats, giving Dick measurements for frames and framing. Whew.  Who knew retirement would be so busy!

During the month of  May my art is featured at the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center on 1610 Welch Rd., North Java, NY 14113. Twenty % of all sales  go to Beaver Meadow for their great work of educating people about nature and wildlife.

On May 22 the Art Loft at Chautauqua opens so I will be taking my artwork there for the summer.

In late summer or early fall I will have a solo show at Fox Run in Orchard Park for 6-8 weeks. I will keep you updated as to the exact date.

Below are the latest paintings of nature, wildlife and florals. I hope you enjoy them!

Oh, by the way, did I say that they are all for sale, both prints and some originals!!!

Special Request

I have a special request for my followers. A friend of mine, Jessie Tyson,  a student at Houghton Academy, auditioned and was chosen  to travel to Europe to sing with America Abroad Music. Jessie is the daughter of John and Jill Tyson. John is our pastor at the Arcade United Methodist Church where we attend.
To help with the fund raising, I painted a special floral watercolor for Jessie to help raise money.
She is raffling the painting at $1.00 per ticket. Anyone who is interested in helping Jessie and possibly adding an "original Boese" to your collection please contact me for tickets!  The drawing will be held later this summer.
Thanks,
Pat

Early Spring 2012 Update

I guess better late than never should be the theme for this blog so here goes! I have many new paintings (at least to this blog) so hope you enjoy!

With spring around the corner and thoughts of  seeds germinating in the greenhouse and the sight of plants emerging in the garden, I am enjoying the renewed energy that spring and sunshine bring about.

Looking forward, in late May, The Art Loft will be opening and many of my artwork will be on display for sale. The Art Loft is located in Chautauqua, NY on Rt 394 near the Chautauqua Institute. I currently have some on my art work on display at the Arcade Library.

Prints and notecards are available of most of my paintings so please feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Happy Spring!
